By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the terms below. They’re designed to keep things fair and clear for everyone.

1. Using Our Store

• You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

• Please make sure the details you give us (name, email, delivery address, payment info) are correct and up to date.

• You’re responsible for keeping your account details safe.

2. Our Products

• We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Sometimes packaging, colours, or appearance may differ slightly.

• Availability may change without notice.

3. Orders & Payment

• Placing an order is an offer to buy; we’ll confirm once payment is received.

• All prices are in NZD and include GST (where applicable).

• Shipping fees are added at checkout. If you have a Rural Delivery (RD) address you must select the appropriate shipping rate. Unpaid RD surcharges will be invoiced before dispatch.

• Please double-check your order before confirming.

• Discount vouchers and store credit are not valid for purchase of Mates and Bombillas. 

4. Shipping & Delivery

• We pack orders carefully and hand them to the courier as quickly as possible.

• Delivery times are estimates only. Once with the courier, delays are outside our control — but we’ll help if your parcel goes missing.

• Risk passes to you once the parcel is collected by the courier.

• Rural Delivery addresses: NZ Post and couriers decide which addresses count as “RD.” If your address is classed as Rural Delivery, the RD surcharge applies.

5. Refunds & Returns

• We don’t offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

• If an item arrives damaged, spoiled, or faulty, let us know within 7 days with your order number and a photo if possible. We’ll arrange a refund or replacement as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (images, text, design, logos) belongs to Ruteros | Mercadito Latino or our partners. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

7. Third-Party Services

Our store is powered by Shopify. Payments, shipping, and other services may involve third-party providers. We’re not responsible for issues caused by those providers, but we’ll help where we reasonably can.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. See our Privacy Policy to learn how we handle your personal information.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. You have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act, and nothing in these terms affects those rights.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our services, you accept any changes.
